Really lovelovelove the dress i wore to visiting today :)
My grandma keep saying I look like a doll. And so fair, like Japanese. Yeah right, Japanese girls are soooo pretty - cannot match up!
Bought it pretty last minute from lacepipe! Everyone should check the blogshop out, really!
Although the dresses manufactured aren't very long - best for people 160cm and below (i think), i still managed to wear the 3 dresses i bought from them :) I wished they make slightly longer dresses, cos it's a tinnieweenybit short...

First dress, i wore to Jon's 21st bdae party :) Some pictures were in his bdae post below!

The girls are all about the same height but i was in heels and sister was on a step HAHA optical illusion!
Anyway, Emily's the best cousin and the closest cousin we are to, she staysover too often that we kinda made the spare bed hers already haha!
And she's so nice to specially stayover at our house last night to TEACH MY SISTER ECONOMICS. Goodness gracious, even i don't do that for my siblings hahaha #guilty123

End of visiting for these 2 days

1st day of CNY was tiring,
2nd day of CNY EVEN MORE TIRING but super fun, because we house hopped :)
Our family's tradition since idk when - i think got more enthu after my grandfather passed away cause we don't have to be confined in one house from afternoon till after dinner.

OKAY it's bedtime. School resumes tmr but everyone is so lazy to go back hahaha!

And my left eye lid is like swollen and itchy and peeling at the corner of my eye.
Some infection/allergy! :( SAD.
Hope it gets better by coming wkend!

Yup, skipped school today. I'm feeling a little guilty but i read through the lecture powerpoint slides and it's on statistics that i have learnt before! Plus, i got an A- for my previous stats mod, so i guess no harm missing the 2nd lecture, right? :/

In any case, i already skipped it. And it's 3.30pm now = lecture's almost over haha.

So i have been using my time wisely.

I did some decorations stuff for his birthday party. & I made a card! :D (but i haven't written anything in there yet) I took photos but i cannot upload because he might see this HAHA.

Then i ordered helium balloons online! (Y) Free delivery baby, which saved my trip to HV to check out another balloon store :)

In the meantime, i have been doing researches one ANOTHER cake for him to bring to reunion dinner.Has to be a fruit cake so that elderly, adults, and children can all enjoy together.

Planning to walk over to Obolo right now and order. I hope they have big cakes #crossesfingers

I have work at 5!!! So gotta grab something to eat, finish up my readings then run errands.

One more week before my boy's 21st birthday!Gonna bake cake pops for him because he requested haha. First time i'm baking for like quite a big group of people i'm quite nervous! WHAT IF THEY DON'T TURN OUT NICE? :/ I need my sister's help, she's the better baker, i cook better haha.

Meeting him tmr to go see and get his birthday cake. TIRAMISU because i want. :D But it'll be a non-design cake. Maybe i should buy those candles that say '21' to make it more unique for a 21st birthday cake? Shall go hunt.
Still thinking about the helium balloons, why so expensive :( $1.20 per balloon CAN DIE. Need go holland village shop to compare prices, i have no more money #stress

On another note:
Last night, we went to Stanely road, planned to visit his brother at work. BUT the restuarant was like fine dining, and kinda expensive. Plus, he didn't feel like having pasta. So we took a stroll around the area as it was pretty windy too. Nice walk, it's been quite awhile since he took a stroll with me at night :)
And walking walking, maybe about 15 - 20 minutes, then the surroundings became kinda familiar to me hahaha WE WALKED TO MAXWELL! Didn't know it was that near. Funny.
So we ate there instead :) He had sunburn so i made him eat something light, and drank yummy sugarcane zzz. Love hawker food, it's the type that suits us both. Budget, smoky hawker centre, but seriously the food good are all found there. That's what i love about Singapore.
Wanted to walk Chinatown after dinner but it was really getting quite late. And he looked sooooo tired hence we went back to the car and drove back.
He went home and Ko-ed haha, thanks to my awesome head massages :)

So awesome, my first friend to turn 21!
We had FULL ATTENDANCE! This only happened like twice/thrice ever since we part ways after JC...

Haha mad excited for this year where all of my peers hold their birthday parties :)
Be it a dinner with a close group of friends, or a huge party with like a million of people, i'm still excited!
I wonder what my 21st will be like :)

The last 2 days

The last 2 days in Hokkaido (then i'm finally done blogging the entire trip!) Will be so proud of myself 10 years down the road - hopefully blogger doesn't shut down or whatever.. Archives are so important to me!

Okay, back to Hokkaido trip. The last 2 days there past really fast. The 2nd last day was spent on last minute shopping, bring us to a outlet factory in the city. Then we had to catch an evening domestic flight back to Nagoya. From there, we stayed overnight at the airport hotel and the next morning, we flew home!

So first thing up, tourguide brought us to 'Lin Xiao Lu', which is a little shop situated at i have no idea where and that's where EVERYONE grabbed the japanese tibits and snacks as if they were FREE ?!

Haha there was this family who took a basket of Potato Farm, another basket of 'Bai Yi Lian Ren' and another basket of random biscuits/crackers/chocolates.
We didn't buy as much as them of course, but we did spend almost S$200 in that shop. Haha but the shop had some connection with tourgroups i suppose. The owner didn't charge as tax, and even gave us another 10% off!
So i bought a little fox keychain for the boyfriend. Because it's cute.
And fox does have a meaning in the Japanese culture, although not related to men, haha but i still give it to him because it's cuteeeeee. (No pictures though :( )

Then we decided to check in the items because there were TOO MANY, hence we gave the shopkeepers to pack into a nice box for us! FREE OF CHARGE TOO, their customer service is really NUMBER 1!
Everyone bought so many things, the bus driver was so afraid the bottom of his bus will not have space for anymore luggages!
Then we went to walk the Sapporo Nijo Fresh Seafood market. Where we saw rows of stalls selling fresh seafood. Salmons were huge and stack on top of each other, left in the open! That cannot be done here, because our weather is just too hot and humid!

I saw a bloody puffer fish too, left inside a icebox on the floor. Just like that. Wow.

And they had these radiators which were really hot if you go too close, some shops even put their kettles on the top to boil water! Don't waste the heat ma.

And a huge pumpkin.

Then we had lunch, Fry-your-own Tempura day!

Oh then we were suppose to vote if we wanted to Snow Mobile, very expensive though! S$170 per pax!!! so nobody wanted to pay for it and tada it was supposedly called off.
THEN the tourguide kinda got scolded by the person in charge of the snow mobile place as he already prepared some free ride thingy for us.
So we went.
AND IT WAS GREAT FUN even better than the day we were snow tubing at Rusutsu.
The slope was higher and steeper hence our little sleigh could go faster!
What a workout, we had to carry the heavy 'sleighs/cars' up that slope, then slide down one by one on our own. The adults were at the foot of the slope looking at us play. And taking videos and pictures of the children crashing into the snow lol.

Since we aren't playing, what's the harm of pretending?

Sliding down was still the best time ever.
Best part? Sis and I shared ONE car, i sat behind, she took the wheel HAHAHA, we were so heavy we speeeeeeeeeeeeeed down that slope like fire. WHOOPEE!!! Then i fell and she crashed, best time of my life :D
Then sis tried with bro, and this time SHE FELL, and bro didn't crash lol.
What a day ~

Then it's factory outlet shopping time + early dinner before our domestic flight back to Nagoya.

Yup we found Cold Stone there! And the scoopers sang us a song while serving! Customer service #1!

Fly fly fly, then landed in Nagoya where it was 7 degrees. Because we experienced colder temperature we didn't have our winter coats with us. BUT THE WIND WAS SO STRONG, so we shivered for quite awhile while walking to the airport hotel.

The day we ate the most! (Day 4)

Day 4 was the day we ate the most GOOD and EXPENSIVE food during the entire trip. And it was the longest day as well, travelled since morning and shop eat walk till about 9pm before we finally checked into our hotel for a good night's rest.
First up, we went to Otaru, which is a nostalgic city. The rows of shophouses there gives one a 1970s-1980s feeling. Like we were transported into the past for awhile.
We stopped by for a photo taking session with a beautiful Otaru canal, and there was this temperature reader thingy which said it was 2degree Celsius! Haha we just dieeeee when the wind blows!

We went for a little teabreak, little cake and coffee/tea, and we all got to keep the exquisite porcelain cup! We topped up some money to get the limited edition Hello Kitty ones :) So 3 original and 2 hello kitty, since there were 5 of us = just nice :D

After that little snack, it was free and easy time for us to explore that street.
Shops and shops and shops.
The one famous is Otaru Orgel Doh, which houses the Otaru Mucis Box Museum. SO MANY OF THEM! And super pretty. Pretty to look pretty to listen, price also very pretty :O
Then there was this section filled with colourful toys - carousel, little aeroplanes, ferris wheel. SUPER LOVE, it was like heaven for me :)

Then we ate ICE CREAM! Like freaking 6 flavours stacked up tall! Woohoo, i want to eat it again!

We had another one with rich bits of chocolate truffles inside, really good, and not too expensive either :)

Ain't my parents cute? haha!

Bought soya sauce glas bottle for Jon's mum and ourselves. Haven't tried it out yet though. They say the soya sauce will not drip from the bottle, unlike those we use for our half boiled eggs at Yakun or some toast bread place.

Then it was lunch time!
What will we be having?
LIFE CRAB! Pick it yourself and they will give you some part as sashimi, some parts for you to put into a hotpot! Sweeeet ~

Then we were so so so full, we went to visit the Ishiya Chocolate Factory. Which is supposedly a must go for tourists. Well in my opinion, i guess it's a place which suits young children more.
But they had these little playhouses so we spent some time taking pictures!

And a red carpet for you to act like a princess :)

Then to Sapporo for some high class shopping that we couldn't bear to spend money on.
At Daimaru shopping centre. Just nice i won some 5000yen vouchers during the NATAS fair in Singapore, hence we used that 'money' to shop. walk here and there, EVERYTHING WAS MAD EXPENSIVE! So in the end, we used 5000yen buying ti-bits, snacks, cookies for our family and friends back in Singapore.

Oh and back in Otaru street, we bought this cheese cake which was EXTREMELY EXTREMELY AWESOME!!!

S$30 for this tiny cake but it was worth the money.

So hungry because dinner was at 7.30pm instead of the usual earlier timing like 6plus, we started digging into the cake as appetizer. & because the entire tourgroup shopped shorter than expected, we had so much time to dinner, the tourguide drove us to the 'red light district' in Sapporo. Which really doesn't feel as sleazy as Geylang or Joo Chiat.

Then we went to see the famous xmas lights of Sapporo.

Okay, back to the cheese cake, Dad didn't allow us to eat too much just in case we had no tummy for the best dinner on earth later!

We had it BBQ by a chef, Medium Well and it METLS IN YOUR MOUTH.
Other than that we did our own little bbq :)

Then we bought 'Ma You' Horse Oil from a shop beside the bbq place.
Boy it was expensive, but it was really good to use. moisturizes your skin through and through.
And the best part was, the tourguide introduced to us the cream that has lavender fragrance and it is not that oily, hence we can use it in humid country Singapore!
I used it like for 3 days after i came back from Hokkaido and my skin turned from cracking to better than my usual skin!
Then my dad confiscated it because he say too expensive, cannot keep spamming. boo :(
So i'm back to using Nivea. zzz.

Yup back to hotel and no more tatami mats. Just like a proper hotel we see everywhere, with television that has 101 channels lol.
Was a really tiring day, we all slept pretty early, and we slept well.

Rusutsu Resort (22/12/11)

Day 3 in Hokkaido, the day we went up to the mountains and saw it snow for ourselves! It kept snowing NON STOP and pretty heavily too! Haha until we kinda got abit annoyed, because it keeps getting into our eyes!
And it was quite difficult to walk in that hugeeeee pile of thick snow. One would fall in all of the sudden!

Anyway, since we were stasying at Toya Palace the night before, we woke up with a stunning scenery from our room window :)

Breakfast in the hotel as usual and then we went to the foot of some mountain to collect and drink fresh water! Really refreshing!

Lunch was BBQ in the open air, eating hot hot food in cold cold weather = SHIOK!

After that, we had a day of snow activities! To burn the fats off haha

After a long day out, we went back to our new hotel, which is actually a resort.

They had all the facilities you need, seems expensive!
We had the longest dinner ever! like 2hours non stop eating hahaha!
That's because we were given dinner vouchers, 4000+ Yen per head, and had to spend all within that dinner and only allowed one time usage.
Therefore, we chose a restaurant that the tourguide suggested for bigger families. We ate and ate and ate! And for the first time, we tried Sapporo beer - the one brewed only in Hokkaido! Super awesome, it was drafted beer too! YUMZ.

After dinner, look how fat we are :(

The resort was really nice, they even had a carousel! And free rides too!!!

Pretty right? :)

And all around the resort were randomly placed vintage automobils, some were decorated with xmas lights, others were left the way they are originally.

That night we slept late. Went to explore the resort after dinner with another tour mate.
We played arcade! Haha hit the mole game was the easiest to win out of everything there. Kept playing that to get 1 ticket. We collected 8 tickets altogether and redeemed a SITCH soft toy! Heehee i'm so happy :D

Okay that's all for tonight, going to watch some tv and fetch cousin and sister home for stayover part 2! :D

Day 2

This is so late but i'm blogging for my sake, i want to rmb what happened in Hokkaido 10 years down the road!
Day 2 (21/12/2011)
The next day, we had morning call at 7.30 am (i think), had buffet hotel breakfast and set off at 9am.

Since we were dying to see snow (like snowing snow), we decided to make our own makeshift one while waiting for everyone to start boarding the tour bus.

See how happy we are!
To our first sightseeing destination, very close to where we stayed the night before - Hell Valley.

Basically just mountains and some well thingy that has loads of sulphur - with the vapour apparently good for your face. So walked around and let the vapour go on our face and we're done. Nothing much i say.

We then set off for our next destination, which is one of my favourites!
It is called 'Shi Dai Chun' in Chinese. A tourist attraction made to mimic the ancient Japanese Village with Ninjas and people of that time.

We watched TWO plays. One was about Japanese woman serving a rich man. And the rich man has to be played by the audience, after rounds of 'scissors-paper-stone' between 5 men, a representative from Korea snagged the opportunity to go on stage. The Japanese lady so pretty and elegant!

It was cute because the Korean guy did not understand Japanese and had to depend on the translator. Still, what a comic relieve. Language might be a barrier, but I felt that the audience understood the play through body language and facial expressions (non verbal communication).
The only down side was some people (not from our tour group, and hopefully not from Singapore) started leaving the venue halfway through the play. SO RUDE! There wasn't enough space to hold all of us, so some of us had to stand throughout. And these people just had to SQUEEZE their way out, making so much noise too! Basically disrupting the atmosphere very rudely.

The second play we watched was on Ninjas! Wow, i loved the actions and how fast they moved about in the small stage area. It was really tiny but they had secret doors and passageways here and there. Most of the scenes were lowly litted, with spot light on the characters on stage. Blackout for awhile and they all vanished from the stage! I LIKE!

Sadly, the picture taken with the performers wasn't clear :( That ninja couldn't take picture.
Then we walked around, tried the MAZE in that area. hahahaha SUPER FUN watch our shock and surprise the first thing we enter the maze!

And we went to some Fa Chai Mao place which i thought was suppose to be cute, BUT IT TURNED OUT CREEPY :(

And 'Gui Wu' which means Monster/Ghost house, something like haunted house but you press the button and watch what happens to the 'robots'. Not that scary, but still, scary. Got one eye creatures, a lady who's neck stretched so long, etc etc.

Had lunch at the place. We had like a HUGEEEE basket/tray/container of food for us. Steamed, tourguide said this is the way the people ate their food last time. I guess because Hokkaido has a pretty chilly climate all year long. The sauce we had to dip the chicken was the best thing on earth! Salty but, shiok! :)

After lunch, we went to feed some hungry bears and take pictures with a volcano which was made from the volcano eruption from another volcano nearby. Tour guide said during the years where Japan was involved in WWII, there had been 7 eruptions? (or isit 11?). Because the tour guide believes 'what comes around, goes around' and 'karma', she personally believe that the continuous eruptions were a sign from 'up there' to stop their wrong doings. And true enough, after Japan surrendered, the volcano erupts once a decade. (Pictures of volcano in my Mum's iphone due to DSLR low battery :( )

The bears are cute, they will try to attract your attention by:
1. Standing up
2. Doing some funny action like - Praying action, Clapping, Waving.
How adorable, we fed them apples and cookies. But, they kinda stink haha.

We had a little more time, so we headed to a place (out of the itinerary) to take pictures near Lake Toya, which is near where our hotel will be for that night. Toya Palace it's called!

Sky was getting dark, checked into hotel, rest awhile and we went for Hotspring hahaha (yes again, because Hokkaido's just too famous for it!)
Dinner + beer :)

THEN IT STARTED TO SNOW!
So we quickly went to change back into our winter clothes and went to see!
but it stopped :( So we hung around looking at the pretty xmas lightings.

We built a mini snowman! So proud of us :)

Then it started to snow, abit. Little snow flakes. You can spot abit from the picture above!
And when we returned back to our rooms to sleep, it freaking snowed mad heavily! HAHA!

Hokkaido 19 Dec 2011

As promised, i shall start on the a little travel journal of family overseas trip to Hokkaido, Japan :)From the 19-25 of December 2011.
That week was awesome, my wish to see and touch real snow for myself is fulfilled (so i can can die now). We followed a tour group, and the people in my tour were very nice. I met many nice adults, and many many many nice children and teenangers that made Hokkaido a more beautiful place.

So, we took SQ flight to Nagoya and transit flight to the Hokkaido - which is an island, the biggest one of Japan's too!

First thing we did when we landed in Hokkaido?
Went out in the cold without wearing any winter clothes to 'testtest' how cold is cold! And smoke kept out of our mouths when we talked. SO AWESOME!!!

And the tour started by bringing us for lunch.
Big Belly Fish they call it, fried, steam, and boiled.

Then we went on for our sightseeing - a village called Ai-Nu Village. Where women with tattooed mouths are considered beautiful.

Where the natve villagers look slightly different from the pure Japanese. They have sharp nose for one.

Fishing was their main livelihood (i think even now too, other than tourism). So the salmons caught at each season were hung up and dried. Preserved salmons, most likely a way they figured out to make sure they had food during the time of war and starvation. Those salmons aren't cheap though! 4500yen for a packet i think(?)

We were suppose to go to Hell's something after that however the sun was setting and it would be too dark for sightseeing, so we headed to our hotel for some good rest.
Hotel had traditional tatami mat style, and one of the best hotspring water.

The Japanese have a saying that one would only get their money's worth staying in a hotspring resort when they go for at least THREE soaks in the hotspring in a day.
We tried our best! once before dinner, and once at about 8pm. We couldn't get up early in the morning for the 3rd soak haha.

Dinner was buffet - eat all you can - and i can say the two men who cam to the tour together ate A LOT! Like everyday.

We are wearing a traditional Japanese clothing, called Yukata. It is basically just a plain robe. We have to ensure that we wear it LEFT OVER RIGHT and NEVER the other way round because right over left is for the deceased. Well, unless you want to be taken as a zombie.

Okay that's all for Day1, i shall continue on the rest of the week when i get time to myself!

Flying tonight!

Just updating before i fly to HOKKAIDO tonight! (oh yeah baby)
Snowsnowsnow! I wanna catch snow flakes with my tongue :)
And take many pretty pictures + spend a white xmas there before coming home in the evening of 25th.
So, before TTY flew to southern part of Japan, we managed to meet up and have lunch, chitchat and do some girly shopping! Suppose to take pictures with the A&F models and their hot bods, but it was the first day of their opening and the queue to enter the shop WAS DRAGON LIKE. No way am i queueing for such things, so we went Far East for budget shopping :) Shall go A&F (w/o the models) when the crowd dies down just like h&m now.

Last night, i helped my cousin for his book event. He wrote the book "Words can never be enough" so launching the book event was a formality.

The book is an easy read, mainly on his life, what he taught others and what he had learnt as well. Hope his book sells well! :)

Meeting up with my bestfriend TTY for lunch later! :D Haven't seen her since forever (this is really true), think since school started last sem. WHY LIKE THAT.

Since there's some time now, i'll update a little.
My boy's going Taiwan for holiday with his family, and will be back on the 21st.
Whereas i'm going Hokkaido for holiday with my family, from the 20th to the 25th evening.
AND fml everything just clashes, his dad says to celebrate grandma's birthday on xmas night. SERIOUSLY? :( Means he can't pick me up from the airport, we can't have xmas tgt, and on New Year's Eve he's having duty means no counting down to 2012 together either.
I hate this shit.
But obviously he doesn't see how much i hate this shit.
Oh well. At least yesterday was a day to remember - he came over! He managed to get the leave approved :)
Fell asleep and haha i got a shock/surprise when i woke up because it's been so long since i woke up to him beside me.
Went for lunch at Old Airport Road, omg i keep going there this month. And to parkway to get screenprotector for his camera which has such an odd screen dimension that it has to be 'custom-made'. We think we got scammed, because the guy charged us $20. It better protect his screen for at least a year to get our money worth.
And we got a shock/surprise when we bumped into his mum. HAHAHA I kinda screamed. It's a reflex action (my friends always laugh at me :( )

Went H&M to get my winter hat! In the end, I got 2 hats + 2 scarves (they come in a set!) for $24.90 because they're having some sale for the winter thingys, guess they figured they have too much left and it's gonna be Spring/summer collection soon.

SO HAPPY WITH MY BUY, especially the white one, mad chio. Bought a black one for easy matching. haha.
Went out with Anger today, for our consultation in the evening (hahahaha)
We had Indo food for lunch, some corner shop at the basement of Cine, it was a budget meal.
Lighting wasn't good so this was the best i could get.

Kampong Lor Buangkok

7th Dec 2011, 4 adventurous teenagers went on a exciting trip to the last Kampong left in the country.

Kampong is the malay term for village. In the past Singapore used to be filled with them, with chickens running about, and fresh air from all the greenery.

However as the nation progressed and population increased, to make up for the lack of land Singapore has, the government had to remove most of the little villages. On the land acquired, they built tall buildings known as HDB flats.

Gone were the days of the people being very good friends with their neighbours, gone were the days of having animals run free (and dropping their shit everywhere haha).

Then we found this LAST kampong. We sincerely hope that it will not be eliminated like the rest.

We suggest eating a good breakfast before heading out!

To get to this kampong, we chose to take bus 103 from Serangoon Bus Interchange and drop of at the stop ' Church St Vincent de Paul'. You will see a Shell petrol station further up on your right.
The Kampong is directly opposite.

There will be a flight of stairs. From there just keep walking straight.

The weather that day was good. Sunny, good for phototaking but VERY VERY HOT TOO!
Haha so after that, we went back to NEX mall for shaved ice to cool ourselves :)

WEEKENDS ARE THE BEST :)
Went to Loola's to visit last night, yumyumtothetumtum! Food is goooood, especially the Pork Belly, cannot get over it. It's at esplanade, so obviously the food would be on the high side. We spent like $200+ for a table for 7 people - considerably okay because we shared 3 mains amongst us. And desserts were on the house, oh yeahhh :)

Then Jon came to pick me up from Esplanade. Couldn't decide where to head, so we parked along the road and think thank thunk. In the end, we drove to Old Airport Road Hawker, but many stalls were close and we headed home soon after.

Anyway, BF bought his new camera today! Fukifilm X100, i cannot wait to try it outttt. Bought from Parisilk for $1399, which is a lot cheaper than the outside price ($1699), good deal!

Went on an adventure trip to the last surviving kampong in Singapore TODAY!
With Emily (cousin), Evonne and Ellson (my siblings)

After the adventure trip, we settled at NEX mall for a realllllyyyy looooong time.
So we walked around, eat finger food, bought some thingy here and there.
And one of my buys:
SNAPSNAP WATCH! Heehee 2 for $10, so i bought one for myself, and the other for my sister :)

So i had a rough week.
Worked from Monday to Thursday, but Thursday was the worse. Don't feel like talking about it anymore, I will just take it as a bad experience, an experience that will strengthen me.
No one was to blame, maybe not even that old man. So as i walked to the mrt station to meet my friends, i thought to myself "Someone, help him. May he find inner peace (stole it from Kungfu Panda), and stop hurting people around him if not he will get hurt himself one day. Sooner or later (i bet sooner)."
I do not understand why such people exist, but i do believe that all things happen for a reason. Hence if it was planned out this way, i have learnt to accept it, and forgive and forget. Painful but that's life.

This incident made me remember an old incident that happened to me on the train.
Then i thought, what would have happened if i called the police instead?

Anyway, all these are old stories.
Let's move on. Hopefully they moved on too, to becoming a better person.

So the dentist is trying to get one of my back molars to come up. Currently it's not fully out, due to the lack of space in my tiny mouth. Little molar, please cooperate! So we can get on to the next (and hopefully final) stage of my braces ~

Permed eyelashes today! For the 2nd time in my life. 1st was for CNY this year, so i guess this time it's for xmas? Did it at Sophia Brow House, had a choice of $68 (she said can last for 3 mths) and $38 (last for a month?). Chose the latter because I don't think my wallet can take it.
And i went for hair treatment at Snip Ave at Marine Parade. Haha funny hairdresser.
Treatment was like $45 i think, got 10% discount.
SMELLS LIKE BERRIES !!! LOVEEEEE! & MY HAIR SUPER SOFT ANS SIKLY NOW :)

They use branded hair products - L'Oreal and Shishedo, therefore it is really worth the money!
The reason why they charge pretty low, is because the hairdressers are still new to the jobscope, i overheard that they only just learned how to cut, style, do the normal hairdressers stuffs. So don't expect a super fast haircut, most of them do take awhile. But the turn out of hair cuts are pretty reasonable. I saw many guys going for haircuts, mostly to shave slopes and eh just chop off a lot of hair hahaha

Last paper tmr 5pm so i have more time to freaking mug for it and therefore i have been slacking since my paper ended at 11am!
Cabbed to parkway, ate lunch freaking alone :( The beef noodles not nice anymoreeee, the beef tasted weird, maybe it was last night's leftovers :O
Anyway went to Macs to get the sounds damn good "double lime sundae with nata de coco". And, it was below my expectations. very sad now because whatever i eat, it doesn't turn out good #sadlife
But at least the lime nata was good, so i finished all that up (gave one each to my workmates when i shun bian went to visit them) and threw the icecream away. Basically the icecream was the usual vanilla they always use. But it tasted nicer in Mcflurry. Weird.

So now i'm home and i just shopped online #wastemoney again
Not to mention i just bought new shoes from Cotton On because it was reasonable price and i kinda liked it! And some new underwear because i haven't bought new bras in months.
So today was okay. Bad food but Good shopping :)

I think i didn't answer one question according to what they wanted because i didn't memorise that part (who knew that small thing was important omg) oh wellz!
Overall = :)
BUT you never know with the bell curve, so I'm worried too.
BUT AGAIN it's over, so time to concentrate on my upcoming papers!

It's raining now and i don't feel like studying sigh.
ICC is actually quite tough yknow. Midterms was no joke.

Lying on my bed right now, kinda gave up studying for tmr's paper.
freaking headache + extremely comfy weather, NOT HELPING.

Bio paper was alright, 60mcqs in 2 hours, one would think there's more than enough time. BUT NO. open book exam = flip pages like crazy. So i only had less than 10minutes left to 'check'. Thank god i had that few minutes, because i shaded B instead of C for 2 questions! So careless.
After the paper, my boy came to pick me up (so love!)
Then i came home first to drop my stuffs and wash up (because post-exam feeling is very nua)
And we went to chomps + udders for the night!
I ate A LOT - hokkien mee, bbq chicken wings, satay, stingray :D YUMZ.
Had a GIGANTIC cup of sugarcane too. And then Double scoop of udders' icecream. Of course, the two of us shared everything. But it was really the most i have eaten in months.
FAT now. Raining = cannot run. I really need to go to an indoor gym. Put me on a threadmill, i can run for 2hours for you to see. Just that when i get off, my legs turn jelly and i cannot walk home hahaha.

Using mummy's MacBook Pro - given to her as her official laptop. But it's pretty much a dummy because of no admin rights, we cannot download any software or music, basically anything.
Abit sian because i cannot watch youtube videos on this Mac!!! It doesn't have the latest adobe flash player and I CANNOT UPGRADE IT.
So all i'm doing now is doing my bio mcq assessments on workspace, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Blog, and photo booth. So far, ONE picture.

In Time

Watched In Time this morning and IT WAS AWESOME.
I love the unique storyline where the currency in the futuristic world is TIME.
It sounds insane too though, imagine being really poor and having to die because you literally 'ran out of time.' Scary thought.
But the movie does speak of the problem real world is facing now, widening income gap, etc etc. On the other hand, there always has to be somebody at the bottom of the chain yeah? Somebody/people who does the 'shit jobs' and to me, they are the most important people. They keep everything going.

Anw, we went shopping and haha our minds were stuck in the movie, we tried thinking of the prices in time currency. Pretty fun!

Walked around, had lunch, and somehow i got less chatty and Jon knew i was tired - before i even realise it myself.
Funny how guys complain girls talk too much, and when we don't talk, they get all uneasy.
Kinda like it too though :)

Jon fetched me to school today!
Well, actually to Joo Koon mrt because he has to be in camp by 7.30am, and class only starts at 8am for me.
In any case, FIRST TIME! Happy me, because we went to 'school' together. Just like the good ole days, except this time, we have a car. So convenient when your boyfriend has his own car eh!

2 presentations today = 2 deadlines!
ICC presentation went well, i think the tutor likes our pretty slides (because it is done using Keynote) and our presenting style (roleplaying -> concise presentation)
HURRAY GIRLS! We are done. Everything's just left with F-I-N-A-L-S

Second presentation for 2208, i think we did our storybook to the best of our ability already.
We rushed almost EVERYTHING in ONE NIGHT.
All because of a certain someone, which i still feel like tearing his head off. If there's peer evaluation, he's getting a zero (maybe even a negative) from me. And i'm sure, from the rest of the team-mates.
Most irresponsible person i ever seen. God bless the other people he worked/works/will be working with.

But in any case, we managed to finish, manage to present, and did our best.
Super sleepy right now, < 4 hours sleep for 2 nights in a row. And I usually do not stay up past midnight. Usually. Because i have time management skills. I think it's genetics because my entire family does things fast and sleep by midnight, unless 'some people' hinder our progress.

Watched Footloose today! Pretty nice, and it's a remake.
Anyway, Cathay was FREEZING i swear it was winter in there, maybe 10 degrees? Jon and I were practically hugging each other for our dear lives. Although i had a jacket, it was practically useless!
But we survived.

So out of Cathay and MY CAMERA LENS FOGGED. I panicked for awhile, haha because the camera couldn't focus. Luckily it was just the outside. And it should only be affecting the outside, BECAUSE the lens is shut air-tight.
This kinda tested my Canon for Japan's winter. Mad excited for holiday :)
Jon's going Taiwan ABIT before i fly for Japan. Which means 2 weeks w/o each other, awww :( But i'll be back on XMAS DAY like 4pm, haha hopefully still have the chance to see him on christmas. I realise once in two years i will somewhat miss Xmas here in Singapore. Oh well.
Wanting to go shopping! For winter stuff, i have ZERO as this will be my virgin trip to a winter country! The coldest i have been to is ehhh, HongKong in Dec? Haha we usually travel to Aussie in Dec. And Bali in June 2 years back. Beaches are the best!
NEED to get BOOTS, if not how to walk in snow right?
And a good winter coat/jacket.
Guess i will wear jeans every single day there, or tights, or both. I think i won't be able to take the cold. haha i practically suck at it. Every shopping centre i go to, i need Jon's warmth, or a jacket.

How i wish school can just end now.
At least my design module is getting a little better, only left with the story book project AND WE ARE DONE FOR THE SEM! Whoopwhoop, i really hope this module can get me an A-. I will really need it to pull my grades, especially for my writing mod which most likely will get a B- :(
and ICC, where i freaking screwed my midterms.
Basically, i just screw midterms EVERY SEM. Doesn't really matter if i study or not. Perhaps i do not understand what the lecturer are looking out for. Perhaps i didn't take midterms seriously. Perhaps doing an important exam in lecture hall just makes me feel relax, thinking it is JUST midterms, like a mini quiz -.-
So i'm hoping my Design mod, Bio, and MAYBE my writing mod won't get below a B+.

Haha i feel that we are such an old couple! Went out for dinner at The Ship, food was good. Eat until want to burst. Then he had to back to camp to rush some work. Poor thing, can't wait for him to be done with army! :(

It's just awesome how i fall in love over and over again with this guy. Although we had quarrels and fights, we never gave up and i'm proud to say we grew stronger together.

I need to lose weight

Most people don't like falling sick, but now i wish i can fall sick NOW.
Like get stomach flu and vomit my guts out so i can stay home and rest, not eat, and lose like half my weight hahaha.
I dreamt i was 53kg. FML. I don't even like 50kg in the first place. Rmb the fattest period i ever was, back in secondary school days, 52kg. haha fat like pig.
(tried finding for old pictures in the computer but they are all gone!)

So, i worked out today, running the bloody hell old treadmill in my house, the manual kind without electricity. It is difficult to run alright. i.hate.running.
And skipping as warm up set my heart pounding so fast.
And the usual stuffs - crunches blahblahblah.

Woah finally i'm able to blog, after what, 5 months?
Have been using Tumblr instead when Blogger failed me. blah.

On the way home last night, we took our old route - long bus ride from queensway. The usual bus route we would take about once a week in secondary. And maybe even in JC whenever we go to queensway to get shoes haha. Missed long bus rides with my lovely.
But nevertheless, once in awhile is enough. After driving for a year, public transport is so ... annoying. Smelly sweaty people. People pushing you around. People who block the doorway and not hearing your screams of EXCUSE ME!
Although driving has its pains - finding a carpark, expensive petrol and erp, but i rather squeeze on the road than in the bus or mrt.

Maybe we can earn enough to build a house somewhere in europe's countryside. It'll be so, romantic. Like really building a home yourself.

This week wassssss, fun!
Somewhat, did alot things, stayed out a few nights in school for project and meetings and what nots. but still, with the awesome people surrounding me this semester, it is good!
So thankful for all of them, making me feel so much more in school, knowing more people, nice people too :)
It's quite scary how the OCIP group of people know so much about each other in such a short time, and how we bonded. Lovessss, thank you all for keeping me accompany on my very lonely vday haha.

Missing my boy, still waiting for his call. Dont know if he would call again, IT'S KINDA LATE ALREADY hmmmm :/

Not loving the public transport ever since i started driving. No wonder there is global warming, PRIVATE TRANSPORTATION WAYYYYY FASTER! Although there are cabs, i can feel the ouch pinch whenever i pay the cab driver like 10bucks. :/

I think the person who said this had like two meanings?
Rose=love, romance, red, everything that is nice.
However, they have THORNS!
So, does he meant it like, life on the outside can be beautiful and seemingly fulfilling, however on the inside, we need to go through obstacles, hardships (thorns) as well?
Partly why i love Literature, even if i only got a B- at the end. FREAKING AWESOME ANALYSIS AND ALL.
And it's the reason why my boyfriend complains i think/read too much into things.
Even when we watched a boy/guy/man/dude coming out from the driver seat and left without looking, leaving his mum behind. But after walking like 3 steps, he turned back (for i don't know what reason).
So i said "Girls shouldn't get that kind of boyfriend. That guy can just leave like that *snaps finger*. But at least he did turn back."

Back from Sentosa yesterday, and boy do i feel fat.
Ate so much everyday i think!
But exercised alot too! Especially surfing at Wavehouse :D AWESOME FUN STUFF, shall go again with friends haha.
My dad was freaking generous. He paid for EVERYTHING. Like really everything, from accommodation, to games, to food. I think he spent in total at least 5k for all of us within the 6days 5 nights. (Yeah we spent the longest time ever in Sentosa, not doing it again hahaha)

WANT TO GO OVERSEAS WITH DEAREST

Sometimes it sucks when your partner is soooooo busy. And you are not.
Shall work next June, need to earn some bucks, cannot keep asking money from Mummy every month!

While my hair is dripping wet from shower, i shall blog!
Kinda dislike the fact that the toilet downstairs is facing the public car park opposite my backyard! Everytime i come out from toilet must like look around first, even though i'm wrapped in my towel. Best part, while hanging my clothes that i had just washed, IT MIGHT FREAKING DROP!!! :O Woah happen before, just pray nobody saw. But actually, there's nothing much to see -.-

Had dance before this! Happy cos i'm refreshed. Working out and perspiring feels soooo good! :) But the room was like a sauna! After a few barre exercises and we were all dripping wet. (okay a little exaggerated)

I keep getting calls these days. First was some Prudential thingy asking me if i wanna sign up for some saving accounts with 3% more interest (or something like that). Sounds good right! But problem is i need to meet some guy that i took the survey with the last time for the brochure. Like whattttt. Waste of time. Maybe if they call during my school holiday i might consider again. No time no time.

And i wanna go support Sherilyn in her Samba outdoor performance! But like nobody going eh, shall text Fiona :) And after that going to support Maria in her Grad Concert! Heehee excited to see my sb4 friends again :)

I hope i did okay for those i submitted!
Tmr's online presentation for South Asia, and it will drag for TWO freaking days. I rather present in class i think. BUT OH WELL, this is fate. Must think of many many good questions to post but but i can't seem to like get my hands on it. Did a few ytd while at starbucks with Bing! :)

Worse still, they go there swim 3 laps and soakkkkkkk only. Please, be a little considerate, if you people aren't swimming, go to the training pool or wading pool to SOAK thankyou very much. Plus it was quite crowded, like each lane had an uncle swimming.
Oh well, then the clouds came rolling in, zzz, so i had to go bathe at 10 and walked to the interchange before it started pouring! Waited for mum to pick me up at the busstop (amazed that she found me w/o calling!) Then i had the authority of the car for today, BUT I DIDNT DRIVE ANYWHERE. Wasted haha. Who call the clouds and thunder keep threatening! IN THE END, here didn't rain. :(

I aim to swim once a week! :) & continue dancing once a week!
So i won't get fat, that's what people become in uni, isn't it. hahahahaha

I dont know what to say, but i'm so thankful for all my friends!
This year's birthday celebrations were woah. I had so many surprises even i'm stumped for words! They might seem simple, but all the effort they put in to do all these for me, i'm very very very touched.

Yunmin, Anger, Qixuan for preparing the mini surprise bash, even though you all had 8.30am class the next morning! And Ernest for being the surprise guest! And Yunmin who gave up a few hours of her sleep to accompany me to the pool and watched me swim for half an hour! Lovelovelove

Sherilyn and Fiona, who waited for me to finish tuition and i only reached town at 8.15pm ytd! I"M SO SORRY, stupid F1 la, make the place sooo jammed :( They made a pretty cupcake! So pretty, i cant bear to eat it omgggg!

Dinner at Ajisen was awesome, haha love Ramen :D

Then came surprise hahahaah! Nathan and Matthias SUDDENLY showed up halfway our dinner. (omg i almost choked) Their adventure was freaking funny but i dont know how to explain it here. Just they had to camp at PS for damn long to try spot the three of us hahaha! Finally because Sher checked in while Fio and i went pee, they discovered where we were. CRASHED OUR GIRLS OUTING! tsktsk, but omg, loveeeeee allll of themmmmm :D

Baby's off to field camp once again.
Heart's in a tangle, its only been awhile he got back from the 10days one, now he's off once again.
At least it's only 3days 2nights. It'll pass soon, hopefully.

But for now, excited for programmes later today and tmr!
Gonna meet Sher for early dinner, loads of catchy up to do! (& i'm gonna do some shopping alone :D)
And NTU visit tmr! :D Planning to stay over with Anger teehee and morning swim alone while she goes for her freaking early 8.30 am class! hahaha, I LOVE YOU ANGER :D
